Thanks to a friend called Calvin, I recently started reading the books in the as yet incomplete Codex Alera series – one that starts with “Furies of Calderon”. Damn Jim Butcher, spoiler that shit! I am thoroughly enjoying the Codex Alera series and I'm looking forward to the next one. It was incredible and amazing and omg, I love Tavi and Kitai. Once you figure out the naming scheme for the Codex Alera books, where the series is going becomes pretty obvious. This particular I think she posted reviews for the first three or four books sometime between November and December. I just finished First Lord's Fury, which is the last in the completely awesome Codex Alera series.
